Holistic Postpartum Support
This offering has been created to support mums through their transition from pregnancy to 3 months postpartum.
Designed to deeply nourish, support and guide newborn mothers with honour and respect.
To promote postpartum healing and wellness and to guide the foundations for the continuum of mothering.
Pregnancy Catch Up 2 Visits
Between 28 and 38 weeks of pregnancy.
These sessions will be used to weave threads of wisdom to learn ways to centre your care for healing and nourishment leading into your forth trimester.
I will help guide you to:
Prepare for the transition into your new life role as mother / mother of more
Explore traditional and cross cultural postpartum healing rituals
Plan your postpartum journey
Connect with your body to promote healing
Gather newborn mama essentials
Prepare for meals and/ organise meal trains
Prepare and organise spaces for healing and nurturing
Navigate boundaries of social networks
You will have access to my own library of birth, baby care and parenting books .
I keep constant contact via phone or text, so that support is there if you have any questions or queries along the way.
Postpartum Home Visit 2, 4, or 6 Visits
Postpartum home visits will start in the first few days following birth (based on arrangements made in our pregnancy catch ups). The mother and baby dyad will be supported by caring for and nourishing mum during her transition from birth to postpartum.
Each home visit is tailored to your individual needs on the day of the visit and based upon what we have discussed in our antenatal catch ups.

Optimising self-care and rest occupations to support healing and prevent injury
Supporting mother/baby attachment by helping optimize care-giving activities

Postpartum scar healing (tearing, episiotomy, c-section)
Self reflection and therapeutic story-telling
Assisting prioritize postpartum recovery with realistic reintegration into daily life
Assist with any activities of daily living – cooking, light housework, grocery shopping, driving and accompanying you to appointments, balance of ADLs
Motherhood Check In
A basic catch up at 3 months postpartum, to simply touch base to see how you are adjusting to life in your role as mother.
We can use the session to chat about:
Navigating life ups and downs
Mental health and nervous system check ins
Current triggers or concerns
Return to physical activity and libido
Mothering through the return of menses
Realistic goal setting
Building village and community

each postpartum visit goes for a minimum of 2 hours
