Why I will advocate for Postpartum Care Services

I believe all newborn mothers deserve postpartum care services, they deserve to be held and supported through their most sacred transition in motherhood - the fourth trimester.

Postpartum Care Services is more than a midwife turning up to do a post birth check up. Do not get me wrong these visits are just as important.

Postpartum care services are a necessity to the wellbeing of our families and our communities health. My teacher Rachelle Selgia Garcia taught me this from the very start of our teachings and it was like the penny had finally dropped on so many levels. It was my aha! moment, my “ I wish I had of known this earlier” thoughts.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
