I am deeply passionate about guiding mothers from pregnancy and beyond to harness their own maternal compass, to heal and to thrive as woman and as mother.

The birth of a mother is one of the most transformative and powerful rites of passage a woman can embrace, whereby you will transform to a new identify and life stage. Like all rites of passages the voyage from maiden to mother deserves to be honoured, supported and nurtured. This is the time of “becoming” and gives us as women the opportunity to step into our own power.

My own journey into the “unbecoming and becoming” of mother has given me insight into our communities need to support and guide women as they step into motherhood. I truly believe the way we support our mothers matters for our own children’s wellbeing and that of our communities.

My Story…

I entered into motherhood with rose coloured glasses, naïve and completely unaware of the enormous transformative journey it was. Birth trauma, scarring, pelvic pain, disconnection and mental health ups and downs, are all personal to me and led me to start questioning the root causes. It has given me insight and understanding, as women we sometimes need extra support and guidance to reconnect with ourselves and to our village.

After the birth of my second child, I had opportunity to reflect on my own journey into motherhood, it was that moment, I instantly knew I wanted to help other mothers optimise their own voyage into becoming a mother and birth healing, whilst promoting wellbeing and preventing long term health concerns. I pay my respects to Rachelle Garcia Seliga for the wisdom she has taught me through her INNATE Traditions Postpartum Care Training.

The postpartum doula training has provided me with opportunity to heal my own wounds and scars and has shaped who I am, what I stand for and the way I offer services to all women and mothers.

“I believe the way we honour the rite of passage of becoming a mother and how we support our mothers is not a luxury but an absolute necessity”
